With April 26th fast approaching, it is imperative that we take action to raise awareness and show our solidarity on Denim Day. This annual event began as a result of a case in which a rape conviction was overturned because the judge reasoned the victim’s tight jeans meant that she helped her assailant remove them and therefore was giving her consent.
