Hear How Fashion is Combating Human Trafficking

Led by our @beautyforfreedom Co-Founder and BabsonAlum Jerry Chu, BFF was thrilled to present a “Fashion And Philanthropy” Presentation to Babson Fashion Group at Babson College Students this week engaging in socially conscious issues that affect all of us.

“How Fashion is Combating Human Trafficking” and “Giving a Voice to the Voiceless” were our topics and the students were truly engaged! We presented several of our advocacy campaigns integrating fashion as a tool to empower and raise awareness for causes. Our #KeepTheGirlsSafeCampaign, a partnership between BFF and Prink Shop was featured and the models for this shoot were youth interested in activism and supermodel Diandra Forrest

Beauty for Freedom is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that empowers survivors of trafficking through arts therapy programming taught by our team of BFF ambassadors and teaching artists. Additionally, we fundraise to take care of basic needs, arts education and recovery for survivors globally. This year alone, Beauty for Freedom has worked with over 1500 young survivors of labor trafficking and sex-trafficking in Cambodia, India, Ghana and the US providing access to arts therapy and empowerment initiatives meant to raise self-esteem and self-worth.
