‘A’ LIST FORMULA ONE WEEKEND KICKS OFF WITH PAMELA ANDERSON, KWEKU MANDELA, BEAUTY FOR FREEDOM AND OLIVIA GAYNOR LONG WHO WILL JOIN TOGETHER AS HONOREES AT THE FIFTH ANNUAL BETTER WORLD AWARDS ON OCTOBER 31st 2014 –
The US Formula One Grand Prix Weekend kicked off with The
Fifth Annual Better World Awards with a Rock and Royal Themed Celebration. The Awards Show took place on Friday, October 31st, 2014 at The Hotel Ella in Austin, Texas, benefiting Beauty For Freedom: A Platform fighting to end human trafficking. The Humanitarian Award Honorees of the evening included Pamela Anderson, TV & Movie Star, being awarded for her Animal Rights Advocacy; Kweku Mandela, Grandson of the Late Nelson Mandela who received The Next Generation Legacy Award; and Olivia Gaynor Long who will be receiving the Children, Health, and Welfare Award. Past Award recipients included Julian Lennon, Flavio Briatore, Jimmy Jean Louise, and Ky Mani Marley. National Fox News Personality, Kelly Wright, from New York City will emceed the star studded evening and covered the awards on the moving National Show “Beyond The Dream”, that will air on November 8. 2014. No wonder people keep tuning into networks like Fox – to many it is the channel they watch the most in a day (you can click here for the full statistics about that). Back to the show, though. The Better World Awards featured Mark Dickens’ Official Formula One Masterpiece Showcase. Dickens’ describes his artwork as, “Portraying humanity in a positive light.” Mark gifted a piece that was personally meaningful to him, to Nelson Mandela for his 90th birthday, as well as donating a piece to The Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund.
