The Campaign was inspired by the ideology that artists can come together to fight for one cause. It features original artwork by graffiti/street artists:
Bisco Smith, Bishop, Gilf, Peter Yip, Yok and Sheryo.
The “Re-Imagined” T-shirt line was featured during Art Basel Miami Week at Yeelen Gallery (294 NW 54th St, Miami, FL 33127) during Chris Bosh’s “Mr. Nice-Tie” Launch and Dinner Dec. 3rd, 2014 and during Jerome Soimaud’s exhibition Ayite Kriye Dec. 4th. New York City artist Marco Gallotta also exhibited his work “Beyond Beauty II” at Yeelen during Art Basel Week and donated proceeds from the sales to Beauty for Freedom.
Additionally, our Beauty for Freedom team supported sister organization Foundation for Art In Motion co-produced art workshops at Yeelen for the youth of the Little Haiti Cultural Center, PATH to Hip-Hop and Peace Flags in the Wind taught by Marco Gallotta and world-renowned graffiti/street artist Nobody aka TMKN.
Our esteemed event sponsor NOIZY Brands is aligned with our sensibilities and viewpoint of Fashion, Music and Design. This new Bluetooth company has a way of thinking that is about constant change, diversity and challenging conventional wisdom. “We were so honored to have partnered with Yeelen Gallery and Owners, Karla Ferguson-Soimaud and Jerome Soimaud for this activation as our visions are aligned in regards to philanthropy and eradicating human trafficking!”, says MonicaWatkins – Beauty for Freedom Co-Founder/Creative Director.

Imagine a world where everyone is free, a world where no one is enslaved. That is the world we’re fighting for. Humanity has no price, to be human is to know that this is true. As artists, we choose to give back and use our creativity to do so.https://beautyforfreedom.org/re-imagined-campaign/
