April 12th 7-10pm, Supermodels Olesya Senchenko and Vika Levina host an art auction and cocktail reception at The Handy Liquor Bar (527 Broome St, New York, NY 10013) in support of NYC-based anti-trafficking non-profit Beauty for Freedom. Featured artwork will include work by Ronnie Wood, Vika Costa, Tim Okamura, Tigran Tsitoghdzyan and Travis McCann. 100% of the proceeds from the auction will be donated to BFF’s travel abroad arts programming and children’s book project empowering survivors of sex-trafficking and at-risk youth in India via Project India which promotes self-esteem and self-expression through the arts. *Cocktails and hors D’Oeuvres will be sponsored by The Handy Liquor Bar.

Beauty for Freedom is an innovative, sustainable platform providing the industries of Beauty and Fashion with a means to raise awareness, accountability and financial contributions for charitable foundations and non-profits who fight human trafficking globally.
Fall 2016, Beauty for Freedom produced a series of music, photography, mural, fashion and painting workshops in India meant to promote self-esteem and self-expression for survivors of sex-trafficking and at-risk youth. Beauty for Freedom has been fierce in its mission to engage the industries of Beauty and Fashion as powerful allies in the fight to end human trafficking through public campaigns, workshops, and fundraising events.

About “Illuminate” Hosts Olesya Senchenko and Vika Levina
Olesya Senchenko, fashion model, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, was born in a small town in southern Russia called Stavropol. At the early age of 16, Olesya’s aspirations and dreams grew out of her small town roots and she enrolled herself into a beauty contest in Moscow in which she was crowned Second Place, which eventually led her to be signed to her Mother Agency to date, the accomplished and esteemed IQmodels. Olesya was destined to make an impact in the fashion world and immediately went on to grace the pages of Russian Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Yes, and Seventeen. Through her travels Olesya admired not only the cultures, but also the fashion and style of her explorations, which ignited her entrepreneurial spirit to create her own Bikini line, Skayra Velvet. While being a model is her profession, and being an entrepreneur is her dream, helping others is her true passion. Olesya is a proud supporter of Beauty for Freedom, an anti-trafficking human organization.
Vika Levina, born in Vladivostok, the eastern most point in Russia near Japan, grew up knowing she did not belong there and before she knew it, she won a prestigious beauty contest and found herself at 16 traveling around Asia catapulted into the adult world of the fashion industry. Finding herself in the craziest situations and with no one to support her, Vika quickly gained strength and maturity and overcame her obstacles and this inspired her to leave Moscow and continue fighting to make her dreams come true which eventually led her to New York City signed to a larger agency working with amazing global clients. Vika’s endless strive for something better, for answers, fulfillment and an innate need to help others led her to her philanthropic work with Beauty for Freedom and activism fighting human trafficking.
